Capturing the Beauty of Motherhood

Motherhood is a beautiful, messy and transformative journey that deserves to be captured. Are you a mom who often finds herself behind the camera rather than in front of it?

The best moments happen when you stop worrying about the camera and simply be with your kids.

In all my sessions, I strive to document a family’s story, it’s one of the core reasons why I love motherhood, big family and extended sessions. I’ll always leave room for the primed and posed shots, but after those are done, I focus on capturing the playful moments—you running with your kids, interacting with them candidly, all of you being as you are. You won’t even know I’m there! I will give a few gentle prompts, such as "Run to your mom and dad," "Give your mom a hug," or "Throw Lucy in the air!" These little prompts help keep the session natural and allow me to capture the hidden moments you might not even realize are happening.

Join me on April 19 at The Saskatoon Farm

The Saskatoon Farm is a local gem just outside of Calgary, Alberta. If you’re a garden lover—you’ll only find me in my gardens once the nice weather hits—then visiting the Saskatoon Farm is a must-go-to spot! This farm has been family-run for over 30 years and there are restaurants, bake shops and local vendors to peruse while you’re buying flowers or plants for inside or outside your home.

This spring, I will be hosting “Motherhood Garden Sessions” in one of the greenhouses on the farm. Each session lasts 40 minutes, providing just the right amount of time to have fun and interact with your little ones or older children! If you desire personal photos and a relaxed, stress-free photography experience, while valuing authentic and emotive images to celebrate your motherhood journey, then this session is for you! I’m only offering 4 spots, so be sure to book yours today!
